To be – Lenni ige ragozása jelen időben

A létezést az angol nyelvben a személyes névmással és to be – lenni ige ragozott alakjával fejezzük ki, amelynek rövid alakját is gyakran használják. Ezt az összevont alakot egy aposztróffal (‘) jelzik. A tagadó alakot a NOT szóval fejezzük ki, amit szintén össze is vonhatunk.

Kérdő alakban a személyes névmást és a létigét megfordítjuk. A rövid válaszban pedig visszautalunk a kérdésre, és ahogy a nevében is van, itt a rövid alakokat használjuk.
